Andrew Sulston

Based in London, Andrew is a capital markets lawyer with a passion for enabling sustainable change in the debt markets. He focuses on AFII's research and advocacy work, particularly the developing use of law and regulation in market change.

Andrew was a partner at Allen & Overy LLP for 18 years, working in London and Tokyo. He has advised on a wide range of structured finance, sustainable financing, credit and debt market products, and indices and benchmarks.

Andrew is a graduate of Bristol University and has studied at Niigata University and Cambridge University. He serves as a Departmental Fellow in the Department of Land Economy in Cambridge University where he works with the Finance for Systemic Change team on the Cambridge University Corporate Bond Index project.
