Research Associate, APAC
Jeannette Leong is a Research Associate based in Singapore, focusing on credit research and analysis across the Asia-Pacific region. She brings 19 years of fixed income investing experience with a particular focus on emerging markets, Asian fixed income, and China’s onshore bond market.
During six years in Shanghai, Jeannette established Schroders’ China fixed income team and led ESG integration for its onshore business, helping to embed sustainability considerations into local credit investment processes. Her career spans portfolio management, credit research, and sustainability roles at Schroders, Aviva Investors, and United Overseas Bank, giving her a comprehensive perspective across both global and regional fixed income markets.
Jeannette holds a B.Sc. in Economics (Summa Cum Laude) from Singapore Management University and is a former CFA Charterholder. She has also completed sustainability certifications from the University of Cambridge and the CFA Institute, reinforcing her focus on climate and ESG integration in fixed income investing.
